Considering lateral move?

I listened, again, to the Simon Sinek address on Millennials. This quote really stood out to me when he was addressing impatience of this generation (my generation I should add!): "It's as if they are standing at the foot of a mountain and they have this abstract concept called Impact that they want to have. Which is the summit. What they don't see is the mountain. I don't care if you go up the mountain quickly or slowly, but there is still a mountain." I come across this so often in resumes, projects and interviews. The younger generation moves around so much because they want the next step. The problem is they haven't learned or conquered the first step. Patience will bring you experience which will bring you lasting opportunities and fulfillment. Stay put for a while and do the grind. Life lessons will come find you.
